Wireless Security Tab

Through the "Wireless Security" tab, you can select the type of SSID that you want to broadcast.

To access the Wireless Security Tab, click "WiFi SSID " >> Select the SSID that you want to configure

The available SSID types are:

• Open SSID
• WEP protected SSID
• WPA2 protected SSID
• Splash Page with Editor (New Feature)  (see also: Splash page editor: how it works )
• External Splash Page without Radius (see also: Splash page hosted on an external server: configuration without RADIUS)
• External Splash Page with Radius (see also: Splash page hosted on an external server: configuration with RADIUS)

Through this tab, you can also:

• create an SSID but make it invisible: If you will enable this option, the SSID will be invisible (not broadcasted and clients will not see it).
• isolate clients: If you will enable this option, clients connecting to the SSID will be isolated among each other (see also: How to isolate Wi-Fi clients among each other and How to isolate Wi-Fi clients from LAN resources)

 By default, both these options are disabled.
 
Please make sure that you apply the changes you make to save them.




 

Once you configure your SSID, click on APPLY to make the configuration work.
