Creating CNAMES for your Splash Page, Dashboard and Splash Editor

In order to activate your White Label hostnames on

• the Classic Hotspot Splash Page (splash.tanaza.com)
• the Classic Hotspot Social Dashboard (dashboard.tanaza.com)

first you need to create CNAMES, following these steps:

 

STEP 1

Change your domain DNS configuration, adding a CNAME record for

• your Splash Page (1x)
• your Social Dashboard (2x)
• your Splash Page Editor (1x)

INFO 
You can use domain names different for your splash/dashboard  (i.e. getwifi.yourdomain.com, panel.yourdomain.com........ )

The hostname of your API must be the same of your Dashboard, followed by "-api" (i.e. if dashboard is statistics.yourdomain.com the API must be statistic-api.yourdomain.com )​

You can not use the underscore character ( _ ) in the hostname (i.e. splash_2.yourdomain.com is wrong, splash2.yourdomain.com is correct )

Here is a generic example of a CNAME configuration, please check the Tanaza URL to be configured:
 

For your URL create a CNAME like	which points to
splash.yourdomain.com	splash.tanaza.com​
dashboard.yourdomain.com	dashboard.tanaza.com
dashboard-api.yourdomain.com	dashboard-api.tanaza.com
editor.yourdomain.com	editor.tanaza.com

 

 

NOTE:

STEP 2

Once the CNAMEs have been properly configured, contact our Support team submitting a new Case clicking here .

Into the new Case, please specify your data like this:

• Classic Hotspot email account (i.e. youremail@yourdomain.com)

• ALL of the CNAME created, like this:

Our Support team will manage your request as soon as possible.



 

NOTE
Please consider that this request may take up to 48 hours to be processed.
