How to send Wi-Fi clients' contacts to a Mailchimp account

To proceed with the configuration of  Mailchimp on Classic Hotspot you need to follow these steps.
 

NOTE
You will need to use an authentication method that includes the email address
(see Authentication through the Classic Hotspot built-in Splash Page).

  

STEP 1

Go to Social Dashboard >> click on SSID >> Select your SSID and choose Settings.

 A window will open and you will need to click on one of the SSID added on the Social Dashboard.

STEP 2

Click on "3rd Party and services" and toggle on "yes".

Fill the API key field if you already know it and jump to STEP 7.

If you don't know your API key, follow STEP 3-4-5-6.

STEP 3

Access Mailchimp website and Log in.

 

STEP 4

Click on your Profile (top-right) >> Account >> Extras  >> API keys.

STEP 5

Scroll down and click on "Create A Key".

STEP 6

Copy your key into the Mailchimp connector on the Social Dashboard as shown in STEP 2.

 

STEP 7

By default Mailchimp creates under Audiance, a list where the login information will be pushed.
You can use that or create a new one from "Manage Audiance"

STEP 8

Toggle on the Push Notification >> set "Mailchimp" as TYPE >> choose your Mailchimp list (as explained in STEP 7)

OPTIONAL

To allow one of your collaborators to configure Mailchimp, you need to provide the correct permissions, as explained below:


Create / Select your SSID, than click on the button "Add Collaborators"

Add your collaborator's emails and be sure to add the "Configure SSID Settings" permission:
