The email and phone login allows the users to access the Wi-Fi by providing their email address or phone or boths.

It is recommended:
  • If you want to use a captive portal to show your brand in the customized splash page
  •  to show advertisements before/after the splash page or if you want to provide information about who's sponsoring the public hotspot
  •  to collect email addresses and phone numbers, but you don't need to get other information about the Wi-Fi clients
  •  to configure an easy authentication process
It is not recommended:
  • If you want to boost the social engagement
  • If you need to other information about users (gender, age, city, etc.)



HOW TO CONFIGURE EMAIL AND PHONE LOGIN


STEP 1

Access to the Splash Page Editor >> Click on the "+" on the top-left of the Editor, drag and drop a login button
 

STEP 2

Click on the login button (that will represent, by default, Facebook Login) >> Select the Method "Email & Phone Contact" in the right menu
 

STEP 3

Customize text and style of the button from the right menu

Example

This is an example of Splash Page view.
The end user will provide email and phone to login, giving the opportunity to create an email list and a phone number database to send promotional newsletters or to call their customer.

NOTE
The country code phone selector automatically takes your country from the IP.
If it fails, it falls back to America, but you can select the correct country from the list.
