The click-through login allows the user to access the Wi-Fi with a click on a button on the splash page, without any further authentication.
It is recommended:
- If you want to use a captive portal to show your brand in the customized splash page, if you want to show advertisements before/after the splash page or if you want to provide information about who's sponsoring the public hotspot
- If you don't want to collect users data
- If you want to configure the easiest authentication process
it is not recommended:
- If you want to collect users data, if you want to boost the social engagement
- If you need approval of your terms and conditions
HOW TO CONFIGURE CLICK LOGIN
STEP 1
Access to the Splash Page Editor >> Click on the "+" on the top-left of the Editor, drag and drop a login button
STEP 2
Click on the login button (that will represent, by default, Facebook Login) >> Select the Method "Click" in the right menu.

A restaurant owner wants to offer free Wi-Fi. He doesn't want users to give their data to login. The splash page shows the restaurant brand, the "Connect" button and the daily menu of the restaurant.
